Our charter is to provide youth hockey opportunities for all ability levels in the Eagle County area for boys and girls. Our teams include both competitive travel teams and recreational in-house.
VEHA works closely with both WECMRD (Western Eagle County Metropolitan Recreation District), who manage the rink in Eagle and with VRD (Vail Recreation District) for ice time at Dobson in Vail and to provide coaches for their in-house programs.
Hockey is a wonderful sport for all ages. Over the last 30 years our boys and girls have had a great time and made friends for life. We hope a new generation of players will join us this year.
The Vail Eagle Hockey Association (VEHA) is a nonprofit youth hockey organization dedicated to teaching the sport of hockey both recreational and competitive through the principals of fair play, respect and sportsmanship with an emphasis on fun, the development of character and the individual potential of hockey players in a safe and healthy environment.
The purpose of the corporation is to sponsor and operate an association of youth player families following the guidelines, rules, regulations and policies of USA HOCKEY, the state affiliate, Colorado Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) and the leagues VEHA is a member of.
Vail Eagle Hockey Association offers the opportunity for boys and girls to participate in both recreational and competitive hockey programs. In addition to individual and team skill development, Vail Eagle Hockey seeks to create an environment where all members embrace the values of the "whole" child including such life skills as sportsmanship, mutual respect, responsibility, teamwork and friendship.
